Hi Every body,

Happy new year !

I landed in Bangkok with an APEC visa two months ago. With the Apec card the validity of my stay is 3 month but I will need to extend ...

Can somebody tell me if I could extend my stay for an other three month ? or more if necessary !

Thank you so much

Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about extending their stay in Thailand with an APEC visa after arriving with an initial three-month stay. Responses indicated that the maximum stay for APEC card holders is 90 days, and a possible extension could be pursued. Specifically, a COVID-19 extension for an additional 60 days may be available if applied for before the relevant deadline. Community members advised checking with local immigration offices for definitive information and assistance.

". Successful applicants from fully participating economies are issued with a five-year card that serves as the entry authority to other fully participating economies which have granted pre-clearance for short-term business travel of up to 60 or 90 days."

I do not believe you can get a further extension on this card, unless it's a COVID-19 extension.

Ask your local immigration office.

@Benj****
right (y) Apec card holders normally can't get anything other than that 7 day extension denied get out of thailand in a week stamp (because they could bounce out and back and get another 90 days there was no extension provided for for them)

BUT

I believe them might be able to get that 60 day covid extension

You MIGHT as in possibly, be able to go apply for a 60 day 'covid' extension as long as you do it before the 29th of Jan (the date the order allowing them runs out).

In Bangkok you go to Muang Thong Thani Section K. They are the ones that will tell you if you can or can't do it.

Max stay is 90 days for APEC card holders arriving into Thailand.
