TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about extending their two-month visa-free stay in Thailand for another month, specifically as an Indian passport holder. A comment suggested checking with the local immigration office to confirm the possibility, noting variability in practices regarding extensions for Indian citizens.

You would need to check with your immigration office. There are reports that some allow the 30 day extension for Indians and some do not.

Yes, isn't the anomaly that an Indian passport holder cannot get a tourism extension with a Tourist Visa but can (at some Immigration Offices) under the current Visa Exempt entry rules?

correct. Makes it confusing. Also seen a few Pakistanis say they've received extensions so it's impossible to say who is eligible and where they can get it.
