hello to all

yesterday i landed at don mueng with my fifth tourist visa obtained at vientiane. the fifth was stamped with a remark that this was my last tourist visa. A don mueang immigration did not want to let me go. After long discussion the reponsible asked me to buy a plane ticket out of thailand no later than November 30 is just 30 days. in the end I left with my passport stamp until December 31 is my 60 days visa .... my questions are so do you think I can stay until December 31 and then extend my passport to 30 days cheang watthana and then do 2 visas run? and then, with a new passport, could I do it again or does immigration have my history in mind?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has concerns about their ability to stay in Thailand after receiving a warning on their fifth tourist visa stating it would be their last. They were allowed to enter with a 60-day visa but are unsure if they can extend their stay and then do visa runs. Community members have clarified that the visa was issued in Vientiane due to excessive use of tourist visas and noted that immigration will maintain a record of their history regardless of passport renewal.

Okay, you have some confusion
@Stép****
. Your most recent tourist visa was warning stamped in Vientiane because you have too many tourist visas from Vientiane. They stamped you saying you can't get any more tourist visas from them. (You should have used OTHER thai consulates not went to vientiane over and over :( )

Then when you entered the country you were questioned about your extensive history of being here on tourist visas. It had NOTHING to do with the warning stamp on the tourist visa from Vientiane and everything to do with the fact you appear to be living here on tourist visas.

You certainly can stay until your current admitted until stamp expires AND you most likely won't have any problem getting a 30 day extension on this entry either.

Your mistake was FLYING in to the country with so many tourist visas and you wouldn't have had ANY problem at all IF you'd crossed into thailand by the land border at Nong Khai, although that wouldn't have stopped you from getting red stamped in Vientiane at least you wouldn't have been hassled when you tried to stamp in..

Good Luck (y)

a Tourist Visa is ment for people coming into Thailand for their holiday. They are not ment to live inside Thailand using back to back Visa. This discussion can go on and on, but nothing new would be added. If you want to live inside Thailand get visa for the purpose you stay here. Tourist Visa for short visit, ED Visa to study at a school, Thai Elite Visa for being a long term tourist, Non Immigrant visa for those who can meet the requirements of being over 50 years of age, married to a Thai National, raising half Thai Children, working etc. I close the commenting and wish you all a good stay inside Thailand and happy life.

A new passport will make NO difference at all, Immigration computers have your full arrival & departure history on file.

If your passport is stamped until Dec 31, then that is officially your "permitted to remain until" date...

ok thank you so do you think I can at least stay until December 31, despite the discussion I had with them and then extend my passport for a period of 30 days and make 2 visas run?
