Can you use a work permit to extend your non-b visa?
My girlfriend is a Bhutanese national, her non-b runs out on the 7th may, but she has a work permit until September, which she hasn’t updated yet.
She has a job In a new school, but looks like the non-b will run out by the time she starts and it’s going to take time for the new school to update her visa.
Any way she can extend her visa at all?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if a work permit can be utilized to extend a Non-B visa that is set to expire shortly. Comments indicate that if the Non-B visa is sponsored by a specific company, it cannot be extended with documents from a new employer. The consensus is that she may need to obtain a new 90-day single entry Non-B visa from a Thai consulate.

Where did she get the Non-B visa from AND does it have the name of where she worked or the company that sponsored her for the Non-B written on the visa itself?
If it does she cannot extend it using documents from any other company. She would need to go get a NEW 90 day single entry Non-B visa from a thai consulate
