I have searched but couldn't find the answer.

I applied for my mukti O visa whilst in the UK. However due to personal circumstances left before it was issued and landed visa waiver. My visa was issued a few hours after arrival. If I fly out to a local country can I use my O on arrival or am I better to extend my waiver then do a border run?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially entered Thailand on a visa waiver before their Non-O visa was issued. They're inquiring if they can use the Non-O visa upon leaving and re-entering Thailand, or if they should extend their initial waiver and perform a border run instead. Comments confirm that the Non-O visa is valid for a year, allowing for multiple entries, and they can indeed use the Non-O visa upon re-entry after going abroad.

Surprisingly this happens quite a lot

a multi-entry Non-O visa is good for a year from the date it's issued. It's unlimited entry for that time and each entry is good for 90 days.

No issue at all taking the 30 days you got in on, getting a 30 day extension for 1900baht even and then bouncing out and back presenting the PDF file (which IS your visa) when you stamp back in to get the 90 days on that Non-O
