He certainly did not go back to a tourist visa as those are issued outside of the country. He should hurry his new job up, he has been there for about 6 weeks now. I know in my area the local labour office has been checking all teachers' paperwork.

he just resigned from his previous school so he went back to tourist visa again and his Non-B is still on process...
