TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if they can extend their stay in Thailand at immigration after the amnesty period ends on April 30, even though their visa exempt entry is set to expire on April 19. A comment suggests that since there is an automatic extension for everyone, immigration may not accept a request for a paid extension, but it doesn't hurt to try.

As everybody has a free automatic extension I'm not sure if Immigration will honor your request to pay for an Extension, but their is nobody to stop you for trying.
