E-Visa question:

I am planning a 43 day trip starting Nov 03, 2026 and returning Dec 15 2026. I received my tourist e-visa. It shows:

Valid from: 03 Sep 2026

Valid until 01 Dec 2026

I’m just trying to confirm that I can enter Thailand and start using the visa anytime within the above date range and I can remain in the country for 60 days from the date I enter. Does anyone know with 100% confidence that this is correct? Thank you.

Yes, all Thai visas work this way. You have a validity period for your visa, but that is not the period you can stay Thailand, but the period you can enter Thailand. Depending on the visa, you will get a stay permit for a different period of time. For Tourist visa it is valid for 90 days, and/but you get 60 days stay permit the day you enter within the validity period. So in your case you can enter Thailand on any date between 03.09.26 and 01.10.26 and stay up to 60 days from the day you enter. All days inclusive. You can even enter on 01.12.26 and stay 60 days.

That's correct. The dates on the visa are when you need to enter Thailand by. Once you enter, you receive a 60 day tourist stamp.
