The reason why I debated to approve this post or not is because there really isn't much advice anyone can give you; it's something you have to talk to your employer about. If they know what the Thai Embassy of China requires for a Non-B, they can give you the paperwork. If you're trying to teach, I have not heard of anyone getting a Non-B inside Thailand since they made a change.

It's a question that only you and your employer should know. I know if I was hiring an employee overseas, I was preparing documents to get them their visa, and they decided to go to Thailand without letting me know, I would be furious because of the different requirement in paperwork.
