TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a marriage visa in Thailand and your spouse passes away, you can continue to utilize the existing marriage visa until its expiration. After this period, you will need to explore alternative visa options to remain in the country.

IF you are on yearly extensions of stays based on marriage from the immigration office and your thai spouse passes away you can stay on the existing marriage extension until it runs out, THEN you must find another way to stay
