TLDR : Answer Summary
Once you receive the one-year Extension of Stay for marriage, you can change the bank account from individual to joint ownership. However, it's important to remember that the 400,000 THB must remain in a qualifying account for at least ten months. If you opt for a joint account, ensure the total amount meets the requirement by combining your funds.

After you have the 1 year Extension of Stay stamped in your passport you can do with the money or the account what you like.

But be aware, over 10 months the 400.000 Thb must be in an account on your name or if shared accounts dubble the money for a new 1 year Extension of Stay.
