Hi, I have a 60 visa exempt that is expiring on Sep 17. I want to go to immigration to get a 30 day extension. Can I book an appointment online for this or do I just have to go in?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster has a 60-day visa exempt expiring on September 17 and inquired about the possibility of booking an online appointment for a 30-day extension. Community responses indicated that the ability to book online varies by immigration office, with some advising to go in person instead. Several members noted that online appointments often do not alleviate wait times and encouraged visiting early in the morning. The recommended office for this particular case is at IT Square Laksi Plaza, with recommendations to arrive without an appointment as slots for September were full.

Just go and get on the queue. Each time at Thai Immigration at Blupoint Shopping Centre Hua Hin it took no longer than one hour and about 40 people were waiting...it is not bad nowadays. recently it took about 1 hour each time.

Book an appointment, turn up an hour early and fill in the forms. Go to the reception desk to check that you did it correctly. When this is confirmed, go to the immigration officers and wait your turn. The actual appointments don’t seem to be used. Don’t forget the photographs and the 1900 baht in cash.

Even if you book an online appointment you still have to stand in line with everyone else there. They don't care if you have an appointment.

Just go in, no need to book. I was in and out in 30 minutes at Jomtien Immigration. 1900 baht.

You didn’t mention where you are in Thailand and which one of the 88 immigration offices you will use, some require an appointment some you can just walk in.

Thank you everyone. I have my 16 month baby with me so figured if there was way to book an appointment I’d try it. I’ll go in person. I’m going to use the Bangkok office.

If you came on visa exempt then you would use the immigration office at IT Square Laksi Plaza, Floor 3, Counter K.

I checked and their online bookings are for the month of October, September is all full. Do you know if I can go to this location (IT Square Laksi Plaza) in person? I want to go tomorrow. Thank you in advance.
