What should I do if I can't get an online appointment for a tourist visa extension at Muang Thong Thani?

For those travelling to Muang Thong Thani you can get there easily with bus 166 from Victory Monument. It will drop you at the shops around Impact Stadium and you just walk a couple of blocks under cover from the clothing outlet stores to immigration. Can come back on bus 166 as well by walking directly back down the street past Impact Stadium which the Ibis hotel is on. At the end of the street you cross the road to a bus stop where you can wait for another bus 166. Tip: use google maps on your phone and click on the bus stop to reveal the bus numbers that use any stop.

Okay, it seems that people are being advised to book an appointment under counter K (no matter if you entered on a tourist visa and should really be using counter J :O )

That means in BANGKOK you want THIS choice from this website

This morning I came there, at 7:45 without booking because it is full. Some comments:

- Hard to find that building because Muang Thani is so big

- I came to the refugee area for counter K, got guided to go to the other building Counter J.

- Got advised to book immediately in the slot under K, because J is fully/ hackingly booked.

- I got seat 6... 8:30 got in, but system error... for an hour

- Done: under consideration, come back by 12Oct 😞

I meant no disrespect in my comment. The reason there are no appointments is that they are booked up.

I would NOT make a booking for a counter you can't use. I would just show up like people who can't get bookings are doing.

When you select counter K, it should have two time slots, morning and afternoon.. can still book if require tourist extension

I think it's because you waited until the last couple of weeks before amnesty ran out.

All you can do is show up, and hope for the best.
