Hello I want to travel to Thailand in November on a tourist 60 day visa. I will try to get a 30 days extension. I travel on a one way and need plan to fly to Vietnam after 90 days or 88 or so. Can I book the ongoing ticket on those days and not run into issues? Keep in mind my first valid visa will be for 60 days.

Thank you kindly for any tips

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to travel to Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa, which they intend to extend by 30 days, and requires advice on booking a flight to Vietnam. Comments suggest that airlines may require proof of onward travel to ensure compliance with visa regulations, with options like a cheap ticket to a nearby country or proof of funds being helpful.

Ive traveled to thailand on the 30 days you get when you land but my return ticket for was 60. Both times the airline was very skeptical about it but after i told them i was going to extend my visa for 30 days while i was there and showed them some proof of funds like credit cards they let me on the plane

Your airline probably will not let you board a flight unless you can show travel outside of Thailand within 60 days, which is the duration of your visa. So you can purchase a cheap train or bus ticket to a neighboring country, or a cheap flight to somewhere like Singapore to show. You can also google "onward travel ticket" for other options.
