Does anyone have any idea if, when showing proof of monthly income, I can blur out all transactions apart from the relevant income deposits?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses whether applicants can obscure or blur out transactions on bank statements when providing proof of monthly income for a Thai visa application. Users share mixed experiences—some were able to filter their statements to show only income and had their applications approved, while others suggested that embassies typically require full transparency, including all transactions. There is mention of different requirements depending on the visa type (such as DTV) and the necessity of showing consistent income over a certain period.
Thanks for the replies. I did show the 500k, but it's in a different account that I don't use that often. I transferred into it just before I applied, so maybe this is the reason they have asked for extra documents to show that I have had an income for the last 6 months.
What consulate is asking for proof of monthly income? Sounds like you are either confused or don’t have the ฿500K and are trying to be creative and make up for the fact you don’t have the cash
You can't manually do that (I mean I don't think they will accept it), but you can ask the bank to issue a statement showing only the deposits or payments you want.
because I did... 🫣 When I went to the bank and asked for an official sealed and stamped printed statement, I asked to include only the deposits from xxx (my main employer). I later submitted it to the Embassy, and the DTV was approved... 👀
