TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the eligibility of a person with a DTV visa to be a shareholder in a Thai Limited Company while having a part-time job based in Europe. Key points indicate that being a shareholder is generally permissible, provided the individual does not engage in work that would violate the terms of the DTV visa, such as performing duties that could be conducted by a Thai citizen.

The stipulations are that you cannot do any work within Thailand that would prevent a Thai person holding that position (this includes volunteering). Therefore owning shares wouldn't be an issue.

Best to ask an agent lawyer or go to the BOI and ask

This is a grey area situation where you could be in a lot of trouble when they see you have a valid DTV

But usually you need a Non-B visa with a WP since you will be generating income within Thailand

Good Luck

I don't see why you couldn't be a shareholder as long as that was all you were and had nothing else to do with the companies.
