Can I apply for a visa to Thailand online from the Netherlands before I return in January?

I'm leaving from Thailand for the Netherlands on December 13th. I'm going back to Thailand in January for 12 weeks so I want/should I apply for a visa online at the Thai embassy in The Hague. Is it possible to do this online in Thailand now, because I have to leave Thailand on 13 December. Because I'm not sure if I'm in the Netherlands or if I can get my visa arranged in time within 3 weeks.

-------------

Can you press the translate button that comes up on every reply in another language? I believe most of these responses were likely acknowledging a language the poster likely spoke and may be one they are more comfortable responding in. The post was automatically translated for me.

The 60 day Tourist Visa is not free, the current 60 day Visa Exempt entry stamp is not a visa and is free, try sticking to the correct terminology if you want to help not confuse people seeking information ;)

That's the validity of the visa, ie how long you have to use it. It still only allows you 60 days on entry

There's no 3 month tourist visa, and the extention has to be applied for, it's not a given and many are now being denied

I have absolutely no doubt that a Thai embassy will tell you their estimated time frame for the processing of a visa. I have recommended this to many people, and they all have received a reply. I do NOT recommend calling on the phone - most embassies will not pick up the phone at all, because people like you ask stupid questions

I have never asked any questions. Whatever I did with the Thai Consulate in Osaka was sorted out within 4 business days.

Stupid questions are from the OP, to escalate their case.

You are asking stupid questions. Like, summon Thai Embassy staff to work on your panics overnight and over weekend.

three weeks of time for the processing of an application to a single entry tourist visa throug the The Hague Thai embassy, should be tight, but enough. Why not send an email enquiry to them now, asking exactly this question? They can surely tell you if the timing will succeed or not

don't try to call. Send an email request. And check their website about what they say about their processing time. And don't forget, January is High Season, the embassy might receive more applications than in the low season

I doubt Thai Embassy will answer that. They are not a call center where one can watch or expedite progress of their application, no way to escalate.

You get it when they approve it.

that's why I said, send an e-mail inquiry. My god, can't you read properly? I know firsthand that Thai embassies will respond to e-mails

What do I need to read properly? Never needed to push for anything. The Royal Thai Consulate in Osaka does it within 4 business days.

They will not lift a finger if someone is screaming in emails.

If you want to apply for a visa in the Netherlands you have to be in the Netherlands when you apply and remain in the Netherlands until the process completes
