TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out a Thai visa application form, it is important to clearly state the purpose of your visit. If applying for a tourist visa (SETV), you can put down "Tourist" or "Tourism." For a Non-Immigrant visa, you need to specify the reason for your application, as this determines the supporting documents needed. Common requirements include itineraries, accommodation details, flight information, and financial statements.

I had to show itinerary, accommodation, flights, bank balance / statement etc. With my SETV application. Check the rules for the type of visa you want. Maybe you need extra flights details for METV. Other visa types have specific supporting documentation you will need.

You just put down, Tourist, Tourism.

And until you state what the reason is that you're applying for a Non-Immigrant Type visa no one can tell you what to put on that line.

What is the purpose of your visit? Provide a letter or other document supporting the reason.
