Can I use a bank statement confirming my term deposits to apply for a Thai visa instead of an account statement?

Hi. I'm from Poland and want to apply through the embassy in Warsaw. I have a question: can I use a bank statement confirming my 500,000 TBH account balance instead of a statement? I have the money in term deposits, and they don't appear on my statement.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual from Poland inquired whether a bank statement confirming their 500,000 THB balance in term deposits could substitute for a standard bank statement when applying for a Thai visa through the embassy in Warsaw. The responses indicated that term deposits are generally not acceptable; the funds must be instantly accessible in a regular bank account. Suggestions included contacting the embassy directly for clarification.

It'd easier and better if you send a mail to the embassy or you call them. In my opinion that won't be acc but you better check with them

did you mean you can show your investments account in your name so long as they see you have the min requirement for DTV? In US, a regular bank is only for cash deposits. No bonds or stock assets are allowed.

Term deposits are not normally acceptable. You need the money in instantly accessible bank account

I can close the term deposit at any time

Anonymous participant instantly? Zero notice required? If so you might get away with it

Yes, it's a deposit I can terminate with a single click in the mobile app, and the funds are returned to my account. It's a standard 3-month bank deposit. If I terminate it early, the entire capital is returned to me.

Anonymous participant I'm guessing there is some sort of penalty such as losing interest but it should work if you explain it
