TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa from Vietnam, it is generally required to show at least 3 months of bank statements demonstrating a minimum balance of 500,000 THB. Some applicants have reported being approved with just a recent snapshot of funds, but providing a longer history of funds is considered safer and may increase the likelihood of approval.

Some people have reported being approved in Hanoi recently with 500,000 THB in bank only since 10-15 days.

Having said that, it's a safer bet if you share seasoned funds.
