Hi, I am currently in Georgia (country). I see it listed in the countries where you can apply for DTV but there is no embassy or consulate here. When I go on e-visa website and enter Georgia as current place of residence, it makes me enter Ankara, Türkiye as embassy to apply. Will it require me to go to the Turkish embassy or can I apply online here and receive everything electronically? I have Canadian passport, and my husband has Russian passport.

Hi! It’s better to apply from Vietnam, as applying through Ankara typically requires you to have Turkish residency. Without it, you likely won’t be able to proceed there. No, you don't need to go to Turkey. It means that the Embassy in Turkey is concurrent and in charge of other small countries. That's common. The Thai Embassy in Chile is in charge of Costa Rica. Also, both the Embassy in Mexico and Peru are in charge of other countries, as those three are the sole Thai embassies in Latin America.

You can proceed while you stay in Georgia.
