Can I apply for a Non-O Visa without a 60-day extension due to new amnesty guidelines?

Hi Guys

My Non B expires July 31st (And has already been cancelled by Immigration last week) and i was going to apply for a 60 day extension tomorrow based on my marriage to my Thai wife and then once that expired apply for a Non O Visa. I've had my 400k seed money in my Thai account only since July 21st.

Now (assuming this new amnesty gets officially signed off) am I right in thinking I don't need to apply for the 60 day extension and can just apply for the marriage visa as planned on/around Sept 21st?

Also a 2nd question which might require its own post (so apologies in advance). My ex employer did my 90 day check in on the non B visa Mid May time and it requires another check in on August 15th. I thought because the visa has since been cancelled then this no longer applies. Just wanted to be sure on that one.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying directly for a Non-O Visa based on their marriage to a Thai national without needing a 60-day extension, considering new amnesty measures. Additionally, they seek confirmation on the requirement of a 90-day check-in since their Non-B visa has been canceled.

You should indeed be able to apply for the year extension straight off amnesty when ever your money seasons the 2 months

AND you are correct, you no longer need to do a 90 day report.

BUT

I would go to the immigration office, get the hand out and make sure you have everything you need when you go in after Sept 21 <- the soonest your funds will be seasoned as you're gonna be cutting it really close to the amnesty running out
