Hello. My husband get 3 month non O retirement visa, I wanted to follow his and in Laos embassy said that now can’t follow retirement visa.
Now we are going to Penang to try here.
Anyone have updated information?
P.S husband is over 50 y.o, wife is not.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry pertains to the possibility of a spouse obtaining a Non-O visa in Thailand based on the husband's Non-O retirement visa. Recent information suggests that following a spouse's retirement visa (specifically a 'piggyback' application) is typically allowed only after the husband has obtained a one-year extension of stay. The user is currently seeking to apply in Penang after facing difficulties at the Laos embassy and is looking for updated information on the required application documents and other considerations.
