Hello Everyone,

My Wife's company will not provide this letter (we even had a help from a Manager but the HR Manager denied our request). Is there a chance i could apply for Non-O Dependent at Laos with the requirements listed on their website? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a Non-O dependent visa in Laos after being denied a letter from their wife's employer, despite the HR Manager's refusal. Commenters suggest presenting alternative documents such as the marriage certificate, employment contract, her passport details, work permit, and a letter from the wife requesting the visa.

I don't even see that category listed up there, BUT I'd say if you went there with the original marriage certificate, copies of the marriage certificate, your wife's employment contract, copies of the relevant pages in her passport (data page, visa, extension, etc) copies of her work permit, a letter from her asking you be issue a 90 day Non-O visa it'd be about the best you could do.

everytime my wife does her extension, i always include that letter from my employer. the letter is just a simple note saying that this employee's spouse will apply for a non o visa under his/her visa...

i can provide the other documents but the only one thing the HR cant provide is the endorsement letter. i don't know what to do anymore with the HR, 😵😵

I don't think they are out anything by trying, I mean the worst that can happen is they won't accept the application and he could get a single entry tourist visa come back and try to get the documentation correct to go again.

i don't see where it's gotta be certified by their consulate for getting a 90 day Non-O in Vientiane or Savannakhet

BUT they already posted that the HR director for the company his wife works for will not issue the letter. That's why I said to have her write one instead. I mean all they're wanting is a 90 day single entry Non-O and then get the year extension inside the country

That's the documents you need if you want to piggy back to your spouse's non immigrant B visa. Your marriage certificate should be authenticated/certified by your embassy before applying for a non immigrant o visa. also you need to ask your spouse to request for an "endorsement letter" from his/her employer that says they are aware of you being under his/her visa. (edit: I didn't noticed that Tod already mentioned the letter :)... ) my bad)

okay, you want to get a 90 day Non-O because your foreign wife works legally here for a company on a Non-B and a work permit right?
