Hi

I would like to get a non b visa. I am holding an Indian passport and right now I have come to Thailand on "visa on arrival"(VoA).

Is it possible to do a border run to Laos and change my visa to non b?

I would also like to know, if my family member can get non o at the same time I apply for non b, without getting a work permit for me but just non b.

Hoping for reply. Please help me in this regard.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on obtaining a Non-B visa while currently in Thailand on a Visa on Arrival. They are also inquiring if their family member can apply for a Non-O visa at the same time without the user needing a work permit.

You can only do that if you actually have a job first. You can not get a type B visa without having a legal job first.

So your employer should give you the necessary documents to get your Non-B, usually from outside of Thailand
