Hello everyone, does anyone knows how to convert tourist visa to non-b? I found a job here and my boss will apply work permit for me but I should convert my tourist visa to non-b first. What documents do I need to prepare? ๐Ÿ™ Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To convert a tourist visa to a non-B visa in Thailand, you generally cannot do it independently as your employer needs to provide extensive paperwork. Many employers prefer to send employees to a Thai embassy or consulate in a neighboring country for a more straightforward application process.

You cannot do it yourself. Your job has to provide a very large amount of paperwork for you to convert. So much paperwork that most jobs cannot or will not provide it and instead send the employee to a Thai embassy or consulate in a neighboring country to apply for a non-B visa there with much easier requirements.
