Hi all. I'm in the process of registering a Thai company in Muang Surin, Surin Province, and everything is going according to plan. I've been told that before I apply for a work permit (after the registration is confirmed), I will need to be in Thailand on a non-B visa.
I’m currently in the country on a visa-exempt stay (+ 30 day extension), and want to know if I can apply for and get a non-B visa in a nearby country, Cambodia or Laos preferably.
If anyone has any info on this, I would be very grateful, as I’ve seen conflicting views on this when using google.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is registering a Thai company in Surin Province and needs a Non-B visa to apply for a work permit. Currently on a visa-exempt stay with a 30-day extension, the user wants to know if they can obtain a Non-B visa in Cambodia or Laos.
