Has anyone in Australia applied for a workaction DTV recently and supplied their girlfriend's address as where they will be staying? Any problems encountered with this or additional questions asked (e.g. need copy of house book, ID card etc)?
I am going to get her to right a short letter of invite, but not sure if it needs to be handwritten and hand signed (as opposed to signed digitally which does not prove it came from her) , or whether it is better to be in Thai or English?
TIA.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry addresses the experience of applying for a workaction DTV visa in Thailand while using a girlfriend's address for accommodation. It raises questions about potential documentation requirements, such as if additional proofs like a house book or ID might be necessary. Commenters suggest alternatives, such as using a hotel booking instead of private residence details to avoid complications. The inquirer also wonders about the format of an invitation letter, debating whether it should be handwritten and in Thai or English.
