The question regarding the eligibility to apply for a DTV visa with stock trading as an income source has generated mixed responses. Some participants indicated that dividends from stock trading are acceptable, and if documented correctly (e.g., tax returns), one might qualify. However, others cautioned that trading itself may not be viewed as reliable income without proper documentation, suggesting passive investors receiving consistent dividends have a better chance. Ultimately, an applicant's ability to demonstrate reliable income and the specific circumstances surrounding their application can influence the outcome.

Yes, you can. Self-directed online investors have obtained DTVS. You should be able to find posts in the threads by such applicants.
Anonieme deelnemer 498 trading can easily be a full-time job and most entrepreneurs don’t have a reliable income.
If you can show that your trading is your profession then you can apply for a DTV. Easiest way to prove is by tax returns. But too often that’s the problem for many “would-be traders”.
A passive investor with reliable dividend income needs to apply for the LTR, not the DTV.
There are group threads about this. Use the search tool to find them. It depends on your income from the activity, how you present the activity, the documents you submit, and which embassy you apply at.
why does it matter if people from Myanmar or Laos can get DTV visas, you only need to meet the requirements of DTV visa irrespective of nationality or residency or embassy you apply from
I trade myself, but I keep all the profits/losses in the exchange and I do not withdraw, so I used my remote business to apply and I got approved in 2 or 3 days...
Anonymous participant 267 What u mean by "no remote work".. isn't trading all remote? You dont need the exmployment contract if u have your own company.. If not, I'll recommend to incorporate one.. It's quick, effective and the embassy doesnt care about the business account anyways..
