TLDR : Answer Summary
A user successfully obtained their DTV visa in Cambodia without an interview and shares their gratitude for the community's help. Comments include questions about application date, visa purposes, and advice on carrying proof of the DTV visa when traveling to Thailand.
Congratulations Anon! May I know what date you put as arrival date in Thailand in your application? Because I applied 15 days ago and it's still pending approval..
I arrived in Cambodia on the 13th May and submitted my application on the 14th. Took a quick beach trip over the weekend and completely missed the document request for proof of funds on the 15th/16th. 😅
I re-uploaded a one-page bank statement on the 18th — status changed to "Pending Approval (1)" the next day. No interview at all. Just got the approval email today. 🙏 PTL!

No, I mean, what was the date of arrival to Thailand that you put in the application?

Thank You for your helpful report 👍
Congratulations 👏👏👏
PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
