Can I apply for a DTV Visa in Vietnam using my Norwegian passport while having bank accounts in Canada and Singapore?

I'm going to be flying to Hanoi soon and applying for a DTV Visa. Most of my bank accounts are Canadian and Singaporean, but I'd like to forgo the Vietnam visa fee by entering with my Norwegian passport (also time consideration as my flight leaves soon). Would it be awkward to apply with my Norwegian passport, if all of my bank accounts are Canadian and Singaporean?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the appropriateness of applying for a Vietnam DTV Visa using a Norwegian passport, while their bank accounts are primarily Canadian and Singaporean. The community feedback indicates that it is generally acceptable to apply with a different passport than the bank account nationality, although there may be an increased likelihood of being interviewed by embassy officials. Ensuring all documents are in English or properly translated is also advised.

Many people use a bank account from overseas, different to their passport country. It's fine as long as it's in English (or translated)

I would use the same passport you're going to use for dtv

Not awkward but it's more likely you'll get interviewed by the embassy

Many DTVERS are approved with bank accounts that differ from their passport nationality.
