Will entering Thailand be an issue if my DTV application is still pending?

Hi, my DTV application has been pending for about two weeks and I need to fly next Monday.

I just wanted to check if entering Thailand before the DTV is approved would affect my application. If I travel in first, would I still be able to return to Singapore and re-enter Thailand again once the DTV is approved?

Applying from Singapore embassy.

Never buy flighttickets you cannot change for free when you apply for a visa.

This is a general rule worldwide, Thailand is no exception on this.

You can still be asked for an interview or to send details of your current location. There is also a risk of your DTV being rescinded upon approval as others have find out. Some get away with entering Thailand before approval but it's not worth the risk.
