Dear fellow members,

I have a question. I hold DTV visa for almost a year now and I also want my husband to apply for it as a dependent. We thought about doing so in Laos or Vietnam before however, I kind of want to visit to Korea soon. So, i am wondering if he can apply for DTV dependent in Korea (Thai) Embassy. Does anyone have experience?

Thanks in advance ☺️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about whether the poster's husband can apply for a DTV dependent visa at the Thai Embassy in Korea while the poster is just visiting. Responses highlight that visa processing takes time (up to 3 months) and caution about the eligibility of non-nationals applying at the embassy without a resident visa.

If you're just visiting, you won't be getting a DTV visa there, because they normally take one month or more to process it. I got mine there, it took a bit less than 3 months. Would you visiting more than one month?

Strongly suggest you don't and read the Thai Embassy website in Korea to see that non-nationals or people without resident visas are allowed to even apply
