Can I apply for a Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in person after entering Thailand on a tourist visa?
Can I just go there online tourist visa and apply for the DTV In person?

Yes it seems strange when you consider many countries around the world are officially "kingdoms", such as Spain and Denmark, and of course the United Kingdom. I just wondered what the reason was, as it's easier to type "Thailand" than "The Kingdom". Very strange! 👍Elías ********

I get it, I also call it just Thailand. But it seems especially the expats here love the Kingdom thing 😂 (which is not wrong, technically speaking). Many people actually just call it Thai (to refer both to the country or its people). In my opinion, the shorter the better.Jim ********

Ok, Australia's correct title is "Commonwealth Of Australia" but Australians get by with just "Australia". I call Thailand just "Thailand" - can't understand the need to say "The Kingdom". Sounds like hoity-toity bs to me 😆😆😆Elías ********

All the thai consulates in the world are now on the eVisa online web-portal
There are no consulates that are walk up/walk in apply in person anymore
1 - You pick the thai consulate you want to use for the DTV,
2 - You GO to that country
3 - you log into the online system, you upload your documents, proof of funds, etc, you apply for the visa (most consulates you pay online too)
THEN
4 - You wait IN that country until the eVisa is approved
Once it's approved you print out the PDF file (which IS your visa) and then you come into thailand showing it with your passport when you stamp in
