Hello, I am new here and I would like to ask you, I am from Slovakia, so we have a free visa for 30 days, I will be in Thailand like "tour escort with local guide" and we will cross land borders maybe twice a month, for example Cambodia, can I do this every month? Is there no problem to get a visa again and again? Thank you very much for answer πŸ™πŸΏ

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Slovak citizen can enter Thailand without a visa for 30 days; however, they can only do so by land twice per calendar year. Alternatively, if the individual opts for a 60-day tourist visa with a re-entry permit, they can travel in and out during the visa's validity. It is crucial to understand that working as a tour escort poses legal risks in Thailand, as performing tour guide functions without a Thai license can lead to arrest and deportation.

Your knowledge of Thailand seems rather limited for someone who claims to be a "tour guide". 😜

And by the way, it's strictly illegal for a foreigner to work as a tour guide in Thailand.

Tourist visa’s are STRICTLY no work, even voluteering / no pay jobs are banned.

If your getting the 30 day exempt into thailand than crossing by land to another country and coming back into thailand by land you can only do this 2 times in a 12 month period but fly in and out as often as you want, until you get a unhappy immigration officer than you might get chastised.

Be careful they are cracking down on tour escorts.

tour guide is a restricted profession in Thailand. Only Thai citizens are allowed to be tour guides. If they think a tour escort is performing any function of a tour guide, they can be arrested and deported.

if legal then I agree but until such time the authorities should continue to clamp down on them.

You can apply for a six months multiple entries tourist visa at your embassy/consulate at home before you leave and travel in and out for almost nine months.

If you apply for a regular 60 days tourist visa you can purchase re-entry permits and travel in and out within the validity of your visa.

For 30 days visa exemption the restrictions is mentioned above.

Twice per calendar year on land crossing, by air no set limits but when you do too many time they will eventually refuse your entry.

No, you cannot do this.

You can only enter Thailand at a land border without a visa 2 times per year.
