Hello everybody! Please help me in this question: How many times can i use the visa exemtion in a year, and especially in a short period? (I have Hungarian passport if it matters.)

Details: I visitid Thailand with visa exemtion on 27th May. Later i extended it with one month, and after that used the covid extension and got 1,5 monts. I left the country on last Wednesday (14th. sept) and I'm in Kuala Lumpur now. I would like to go back Thailand on 25th september (this Sunday), but i have issues with the translation of my bank documents, so i'm affrad i won't get the regular tourist visa by the time i need. Can i go back with exemtion?

Thank you very much for the help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the frequency of using the visa exemption for Thailand, especially within a year, while dealing with a Hungarian passport. They shared their recent travel history, having entered and extended their stay through various exemptions, and faced issues obtaining a tourist visa. Responses highlighted that while there are reports of no limits for entry by air, restrictions apply to those crossing land borders, typically allowing only two entries per year.

Have the three proofs ready for immigration when entering, 20,000 baht or equivalent in CASH, pre-booked accommodation for the time you're stamped in for, an onward ticket within the time you're stamped in for.

By landborder only twice a year

then you are at risk. Be prepared to be asked by a Thai immigration officer on your arrival... Why do you stay so long in Thailand?

if they think you're living here on those 30 day free stamps they can indeed deny you entry. As long as you have proof you're leaving the country, proof of where you're staying once you're here (hotel booking, etc) there is little chance to have a problem
