Are there any reports of people with a history of tourist visas being turned away at Koh Samui airport?
If so, which airports are considered relatively 'relaxed'?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights concerns about individuals with a history of tourist visas being potentially turned away at Koh Samui airport, with anecdotal evidence suggesting that airports like Chiang Mai (CM), Phuket, and Samui are relatively more relaxed compared to Bangkok (BKK). It emphasizes the importance of having necessary documentation ready upon arrival, such as proof of sufficient funds, return tickets, and accommodation details.
I’m sure there are stories in all airports and border crossings. But when you see some of the details of how long they’ve been getting away with back to back exempt or tourist entries you can understand why.
“Relatively” your tourist airports of CM, Phuket and Samui are more relaxed than BKK airports. However it’s really up to the IO you meet on arrival. All you can do is have the three proofs - cash, ticket and accommodation and a plan B. Some land borders are considered much more relaxed than airports.
