What is the likelihood of being denied re-entry at Mae Sai? I'm on a SETV at the moment, which I will extend for 30 days before doing a border run.
In the past 2 years, I've had 2 SETVs (extended) and 3 visa exemptions (2 air + 1 Mae Sai border run). I haven't been here constantly, I've left for periods of 4-6 months 3 times but I'm getting a bit worried that my passport is filling up with Thai visa's and entry stamps and I don't want to risk being stuck in Burma will all my stuff in Thailand.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The likelihood of being denied re-entry at Mae Sai can depend on several factors including your history of visa usage and border crossings. While some users report no issues as long as you stay within the limits of corresponding regulations, particularly the two land border crossings in a calendar year, others suggest that the passport's visa stamps and entry history might raise scrutiny. It’s crucial to ensure you have the correct documentation, such as a Myanmar visa if needed, to avoid complications.
Ive only done one land border crossing last Nov, so I have 2 this year. So as long as I’m within the 2 border limits it doesn’t matter how many entry stamps I have?
My understanding is that they won’t let you out at Mai Sai if they aren’t going to let you back in again, as you can’t get out the other side unless you have a Myanmar visa. Otherwise there would be a weird Farang camp in the market of stranded people 😂.
Charlotte is correct IF you can't bounce at Mae Sai they won't even stamp you out of thailand. because without a real visa for burma you can't travel inside the country so you'd have no way to get to the airport to fly back in ;)
