Hi I need some advice regarding my entry to Thailand

My last visa stamp extension I was given was up to Feb. 18th, 2022. Planing to come back to Thailand for 2 weeks as Mexican passport holders are allowed to stay in Thailand up to 15 days. My question is, will I get denied entry of any sort as I previously stayed there up to my last possible visa extension from the Ayutthaya immigration. And if there will be any issues, are there any ways to get around it ? Just want to double check before buying my flight to Thailand and getting denied entry as the regulations are always changing. Thanks in advanced

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is seeking advice on the possibility of being denied entry to Thailand due to a history of visa extensions that expired on February 18, 2022. They plan to visit for two weeks as a Mexican passport holder, which allows a 15-day stay. Comments suggest that previous COVID extensions may raise red flags at immigration, potentially resulting in extensive questioning or denial of entry. It is recommended to provide documentation such as proof of onward travel, funds, and accommodation. Some users advise entering via Chiang Mai to avoid issues and highlight the importance of being prepared for immigration scrutiny.

I don't think visa on arrival is extendable.

I had 2 COVID visa extensions this year. I just got denied my Thai sticker visa yesterday at the Thai embassy. So yea, you can get denied too. People with a long stay history in Thailand can be in trouble, even though the stay was legal.

so what happens when you get denied? Do you get sent back to your home country or the country you recently flew from?

It looks like you have covid extensions in your passport, which means you are very likely to be pulled out of line if you arrive in Bangkok or Phuket and extensively questioned about your past time in Thailand and why you're back in Thailand. You could possibly be denied entry.

You could try flying into Chiang Mai as we don't have any reports of people having issues entering the country there.

If you decide to come, you'll want to have the 3 proofs that immigration might ask for.

1. Proof of flight out of Thailand within the days you'll be stamped in for (it's not 15 days, it's temporarily 30 days for visa on arrival until March 31st)

2. Proof of funds (10,000 baht or equivalent in a major currency in cash only. Cannot be bank statement, banking app, or credit card)

(To anyone wondering why I said 10,000 and not 20,000: the amount is different for those entering Visa on Arrival as compared to those entering visa exempt or tourist visa)

3. Proof of lodging (hotel reservation etc)

Hey Brandon, I was wondering why you mentioned CM, international flights don't land in CM so there's no immigration there, am I wrong ? You first land in BKK , get past immigration there, then hop on a regional flight to CM. Isn't it ?

Chiang Mai is an international airport and there are flights that arrive there from overseas. They do have immigration. Just like Phuket and Krabi and Koh Samui
