Are passport photo size discrepancies an issue for a Thailand DTV visa appointment?

Hi All,

I have a quick question. I have my DTV visa appointment In Vientiane next week.

I have everything in order, but just noticed my passport photos are 3.3 x 4.5 cm wide instead of 3.5 x 4.5 cm.

Does anyone know if they’re super fussy on this? I can’t find any information on this but don’t want to give any small reason for it to be rejected.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is concerned that their passport photo size (3.3 x 4.5 cm) does not meet the required dimensions (3.5 x 4.5 cm) for their DTV visa appointment in Vientiane. They seek clarification on the strictness of photo size regulations. Responses from other users indicate that the discrepancy is unlikely to cause issues, but one commenter advises to correct it to avoid any potential rejection.

That is exactly a great example of a “small reason to be rejected”. Don’t take any chances and just fix it.

I have no answer for your question… I hope it’s ok to ask,

Why is it needed to book an appointment?

I thought it’s all happening online at the evisa platform.

I’m I missing something?

I’ll be in Vietnam in 10 days in order to apply but didn’t know I need an appointment.

Will appreciate clarification..

some embassies are walk-up and many are e-visa online. Investigate the embassy you're applying at
