Good Morning quick question about 90 days Report and my passport.
Iโm on a DTV at phuket , during the Heavy rain my passport got wet and all the Stamps are unclear accept the DTV stamp๐ but we re in Thailand so iโm unsure if I can get a problem with moving in or out the Country. I guess a need a new one but until i receive it, I have to do the 90 days report or so-called TM 47.
I wanna go to the immigration in person just because this is the first time since Iโm back.
So my questions would be what documents do I need for the 90 days report? Do they charge money for it? Is my passport specifically for the 90 days report necessary or can I use an older picture of it?
Thanks for all the response in advance ๐๐ผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about completing their 90 days report due to their passport getting wet and the stamps inside becoming unclear. They seek clarification on the necessary documentation, associated fees, and whether they can use an older passport picture for the report. Comments suggest that a new passport is needed, as unclear stamps may pose problems, but the 90 days report itself is free.

As it is not lost or stolen you can apply for a replacement in Bangkok. It takes about 2 weeks and will require two trips to Bangkok or you can use an independent service who will do it for you.
My new UK passport just been approved. Did it myself as VFS in Chiang Mai is literally 5 minutes from where I live. If I was not close to an office would definately use Agent again as I did last time.
I had a bit of a mess around. VFS sent off to Passport office 12th November. 19th November payment taken by HMPO. 26th November passport office asked for more proof of address even though VFS had checked all documents. I sent those off by EMS 27th. Email from HMPO saying passport approved even before those extra docs would have arrived in the UK (3 emails asking for extra docs while they were in transit) ๐ Mai pen rai

I did mine at VFS in BKK, a year early as I didn't want my passport to runout mid DTV. I used my Thai DL for address and everything was smooth. My friend did his a few months earlier and got BKK Bank to print his statement in English for his proof of address. I like a trip to BKK so no problem for me. There was a guy who used an agent because he lived in Udon Thani and sent his passport via a courier and they lost it. He had to go back to his home country on an emergency travel document to get a new passport, so there's always a risk albeit it small.
