What are the chances of getting approved for a DTV visa or Muay Thai academy in Thailand at over 50 years old with no proof of income?
Hi everyone, I'm looking to apply for DTV/SoftPower/Muay Thai academy. Have some questions that need some clarity.
1. Have no proof of income / not working/ unemployed..but have enough funds for DTV requirements
2. Age above 50yrs
What are the chances of it getting approved?
Appreciate any advice I can get 🙏

The post inquires about the chances of obtaining a DTV visa for Muay Thai training, specifically under the conditions of being over 50 years old and without proof of income. Responses suggest that having sufficient funds is crucial, and many recommend considering a Non-O retirement visa as a potentially better option for individuals over 50. There are varying opinions on the visa approval chances depending on factors like course duration and the reputation of the training academy.

Approved where? You left out the most crucial factor, the embassy you'll apply at.

If you are over 50 and also have enough funds for non-o retirement and plan to live fulltime time in Thailand, non-o retirement visa might be better, also save you the cost of long time Muay Thai training.

I did mine through tiger eye in Bangkok booked 1 month course and showed 3 months statement through London approved in 4 days

If over 50 yrs old retirement visa is better

Very high chances of approval if you choose a 6 month plus course with a reputable DTV approved gym. There are 70 plus years of age on the DTV Muay Thai.
