Will my salary history affect my DTV visa application to Thailand?

For DTV the five hundred thousand baht for three months rule is about bank balance not salary length.

If you have required amount now and can show three months bank statements where ending balance meets rule you can still apply. Salary only one month is ok if your job letter says you are hired remote and salary will continue. Consulate cares more that you have stable funds and remote job proof. Attach pay slip for one month plus job contract and bank proof. Add cover note explaining you started recently but funds are enough.

For spouse and children yes you apply first for your DTV and wait until approved. After you get visa you apply for each dependent separately with your DTV copy plus marriage and birth certificates. Each needs extra funds proof and separate application. Many families do same process and it works if papers are translated and certified.

Check your appropriate Embassy website for funds needed. You’re supposed to have the 500K THB for 3 months prior (Washington DC Embassy). Then you apply, get approved & can then apply for your family members. They also require extra funds from what I recall. Again, that should be on your Embassy’s website. Google which branch or Consulate you need to apply from. You can’t live in CA & apply through D.C. for example.

You need to check with the embassy if you need an additional 500,000 for each dependent when you apply for them after your application is approved.

There are two separate requirements 1 one requires you to have 500k in your account. Most embassies require it to be there for 3 months. Then separately you need a job snd proof of job is an income/ do you meet both? What do you mean by the embassy you “want” to apply through? You don’t get to really pick, so not about which one you want
