"Anyway a Thai VISA run to Hong Kong may seem ridiculous but our last visit was around 6,000 Baht return, and, unlike China, there is no need for a VISA to enter Hong Kong."

Is this still true for UK passport holders? What about Thai passport holders?

If I have a passport expiring in May and I'm travelling to Hong Kong over New Years, will I be denied boarding on the way back to Bangkok for not having valid passport for the next 6months? Even though I already have the re-entry visa and WP?
