I'm trying to figure out what to do about my visa. I've been here 1.5 years on covid stamps. Then did a visa run to Malaysia over two months ago and got a tourist visa. They also gave me a blue stamp above saying I've been in Thailand long time and may get denied next time. My visa expires December 28th.

Options. Do a border run to Malaysia and get a 45 day visa exempt instead this time. Go up north to Cambodia or Laos where i heard the border is easier.

Also does it make a difference if I stay abroad until after December 31st? Does it start over in the new year, how many visas I'm allowed to have?

Can anyone please confirm if it necessary to visit immigration if you are currently under the tourist amnesty to get a free stamp in your passport up to the 26th Sept as a necessary step prior to securing any other future visa? Am reading mixed things. Thank you šŸ™šŸ»
