FYI: I just called Nong Khai immigration office for border bounce for Vietnamese national. The officer said that, if the person crossing have not extended the visa and it is the first time - the person can leave and get back into Thailand without needing to stay over night. In case, someone need this info. Thanks.

Good afternoon all. I’m Vietnamese and entered Thailand on a visa exempt basis for 29 days. Am I eligible for an extension? I’ve read a post made by the admin here that was not very clear regarding Vietnamese nationals.

If it is possible, what documents will I need, now that the TM6 is not necessary anymore and thus not provided upon arrival?
