Hi. My current visa & WP ( from previous employer ) expires 16 may, while my new employer is preparing the documents for my new WP & Visa.

The proper way is to cancel my old work permit and apply for the new on THE SAME DAY. Hope fully It would be done the same way,

BUT I need to look all the possible scenarios so if in case my new employer couldnt complete the documents on 16 May, what should I do in this case?

Is it fine if I overstay a day or two? and once the documents are completed, say on 17 or 18 May and we go to apply fornew WP & visa,

OR

should I take the 7 days extension ? ( but I have heard after taking 7 days, no one gets any kind of extesnion even If having a job & all the required documents, don’t know its true info or not)

In case if I choose the first option, OVERSTAYING 1 or 2 days,

Would this overstay make any problems while we apply for the new WP & visa extension?
