I am currently working in Thailand teaching, but have a different job offer that I want to accept....but I am under contract....contract says I can give 30 days notice....what other steps do I need to take to switch job smoothly?
The company - and school I work for got me my work permit
Is it easier to fly out of Thailand and back in?
Any advice?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To smoothly transition to a new job in Thailand while under contract, you should provide your employer with the required 30 days notice as stated in your contract. Additionally, contact the HR department at your current school to understand the process for releasing your work permit and any other obligations. If your new employer will be arranging a new work permit, verify with them about the best way to facilitate the switch. Flying out of Thailand and returning can sometimes simplify the process, especially if you need a new visa, but it’s essential to confirm the requirements with your new employer. Overall, ensure you follow the contractual obligations and communicate openly with both your current and new employers.
