I have got my visa extension for 60 days until 27 March due to pandemic of corona. After that, what kind of visa can I switch to? I am planning to have a language course for visa extension. Can I do it?

In a few days I will return to my home country AUSTRALIA to apply for ED Visa for Adv. Thai Lang. course.

I will be returning to Thailand flying from SYD-SIN-USM Samui.

- Do I require an airline ticket indicating departure from Thailand?

- Do I require proof of funds in cash (and how much)?

- Any other requirements/advice?

Background info:

- Australian passport

- Been in Thailand since Sep. 2017 (multiple TR and 1x ED visa)

Thank you in advance for any advice! 🙂🙏🏽

With 1 time a few days overstay, getting an ED visa is probably no problem?

What is the difference between a visa from a private language course that is supplying 8 month visa and a selfdefense visa of 1 year, except the length?

Both of them are will have the 3 month extending?

Any differences with the pro and cons?

You are able to do the same things with it? For example can you get a driving license (+make test) with both?

Ok here's another one (because you guys seem to know EVERYTHING!!)

I went to Laos last week and got my Non Imm Education Visa. On the application form, I wrote that I wanted a 12 month Visa (which is the length of the language course I signed up for) -but the valid from/to dates on the Visa itself are only 3 months apart.

Do I have to do a border run every 3 months for the duration of the 12month language course I signed up to (which is what got me the Visa) -OR- do I need to get another education visa every 3 months?

Thanks, Chris.
