I posted about this previously. Yes, they emailed me that they are moving to Evisa in October. The wait time will be up to 30 days they said so I don't know...that's a long time to wait in a hotel. I think there might be better options than this, but if you don't get an apt before they move to the evisa, I am not sure it's worth coming to HCMC to do it unless you already live here or are willing to wait indefinitely in an airbnb.

Usually appointments at embassies as scheduled a week to three weeks out. Your post kind of passively implied that it was a long time before you could get an appointment. If worried about the length of time, other than time, other embassies, like in Phnom Penh only accept walk ins.Reply to
