HCMC Thai embassy slots seems to be all booked up until October. Does anyone know if they are moving their services online after October? (DTV)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai embassy in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) has fully booked slots until October. There is speculation that they will transition to online services (Evisa) starting in October, with some users confirming they received emails about this change. The wait time for Evisa processing could be up to 30 days, raising concerns about accommodations for those needing immediate assistance.

I posted about this previously. Yes, they emailed me that they are moving to Evisa in October. The wait time will be up to 30 days they said so I don't know...that's a long time to wait in a hotel. I think there might be better options than this, but if you don't get an apt before they move to the evisa, I am not sure it's worth coming to HCMC to do it unless you already live here or are willing to wait indefinitely in an airbnb.

Looks like they will be moving to Evisa from Oct as Nov -2025 slots are all blocked off

There are no slots after like the 7th of Oct. I believe this is when they are starting the evisa as they emailed me about this a month ago.

Oh I see, so supposedly.. it is still possible over the course of October 🤞

Usually appointments at embassies as scheduled a week to three weeks out. Your post kind of passively implied that it was a long time before you could get an appointment. If worried about the length of time, other than time, other embassies, like in Phnom Penh only accept walk ins.

I have an appointment on the October 3rd at HCMC thai consulate, hoping it is still possible.

Maybe try to ask them via e-mail?
